Where your gifts go
Trust matters. Here is how gifts are handled, what each fund is for, and how the campaigns are doing.
How gifts are handled
- Payments go through Stripe. Card details never reach our servers.
- Each gift is recorded under the fund you choose. Zakat is kept apart from every other fund and is spent only on the eligible categories.
- Refunds are made on request and appear in our records automatically.
- Monthly gifts can be changed or stopped by you at any time.
What each fund is for
- Where it's needed most
- Prayers, upkeep and daily running of the center.
- Sadaqah
- Voluntary charity for the center's programs and people in need.
- Zakat
- Kept apart and spent only on the eligible categories of zakat.
- Ramadan
- Iftars, taraweeh and Ramadan programs.
- Building fund
- The building and its future.
- Kids school
- Islamic, Arabic and Quran classes for children.
- Emergency relief
- Help for families in sudden need.
Charity status
Registration as a charity is in progress. Official tax receipts are not issued online yet.
